Shipping Manager

An environmentally conscious, plant-centered facility based in Phoenix, AZ. is seeking an extensive experienced Shipping Manager to oversee the shipping and receiving operations within the distribution center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and warehouse management, ensuring that all shipping processes run smoothly and efficiently. Duties
– Lead by example; assisting with shipments along with supervising the daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
– Coordinate with both the Warehouse Manager and Operations Manager to optimize shipping schedules and inventory management.
– Oversee the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed to prevent damage.
– Train and mentor staff on best practices for materials handling, safety protocols (OSHA compliance), and efficient workflow processes.
– Address any issues related to shipping discrepancies or delays promptly and effectively.

Skills

-MUST be Knowledgeable with NetSuite; platform in which all orders are processed in the Customer Service Department.

-Have Strong knowledge of distribution center operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
– Have both accuracy and speed when dealing with shipping.
– Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices in a warehouse environment.
– Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing logistics processes.
– Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
