Estate Planning Paralegal

A highly successful and growing Wealth Management company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estate Planning Paralegal to join their dynamic professional team. In this role, you will support attorneys in preparing, drafting and managing estate planning documents, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and providing exceptional client service. Your expertise will help clients secure their future through meticulous estate planning strategies, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related legal instruments. Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing estate planning documents such as wills, POA’s, deeds, LLC’s, trusts and other estate and business planning documents.
• Interview and meet with clients to gather relevant information, explain legal procedures, and clarify estate planning goals.
• Work in office with members of the team of paralegal servicing both in-state and out-of-state clients.
• Maintain detailed records of case progress, correspondence, and legal documentation while adhering to strict confidentiality standards.
• Handle law office administration duties such as answering the phone, checking voice messages, scheduling appointments, handling the mail, collecting payments and other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Proven 3+ years’ experience as an estate paralegal with estate planning or related legal fields.
• Strong knowledge of estate planning principles, procedural law, and legal drafting techniques.
• 4-year college degree or a paralegal/legal assistant certificate preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) essential.
• A positive attitude, well-organized, and detailed- oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and can multi-task.
