We’re looking for a Financial Coordinator to help in executing the general administrative and
accounting duties.
The ideal professional for the role is a flexible problem solver with excellent
organizational and communication skills with a strategic mindset. The ideal candidate
should have experience in an administrative capacity in an office environment and
general accounting knowledge. Multitasking and the unique ability to adeptly handle
the unexpected are essential qualities to bring to the position.
The position requires someone who possess excellent planning, time management,
and organization skills. An eye for details, ability to identify discrepancies, and be able
to provide appropriate solutions are essential characteristics for this position. The
candidate must be highly organized with the ability to implement systems and follow
processes, able to work effectively under pressure, use independent judgment and
produce a quality work product.
The Finance Coordinator will support all office staff and will be supervised by the
Director of Finance and Administration. The main responsibilities of this position will be
to excel at administrative and accounting functions to provide support to the Director
of Finance and Administration that would facilitate in the achievement of the goals
and objectives designed by the firm.
General Areas of Responsibility
•Administrative and accounting support functions to oversee and achieve
organizational goals while maintaining an efficient, productive, and positive
environment.
•Coordinate and manage proposal preparation, development and submission, while
providing and managing deadlines throughout the proposal process.
•Gather RFP’s for submission to consultants.
•Develop budgets
•Maintain proposal folders and file naming
•Maintain and update current documents, spreadsheets and reports as needed.
•Perform accounts payable functions including data entry and payment of various
expenses and invoices
•Monitor accounts receivable and identify issues
•Cross-training on all office administrative functions

Skills and Qualifications
•Knowledge of basic accounting principles and standard business accounting
practices.
•Appreciation to adhere to procedures and processes
•Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
•Superb written and verbal communication skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
•Solid interpersonal skills
•High school diploma or equivalent
